Rosemary HP

I decided to do a video of my latest soaping event. Gotta love time lapse.

Next time I'll do a longer one for sure. The soap is strongly scented with rosemary essential oil and the top has been decorated with safflower and calendula petals in moderation. Yellow dock root was infused with the olive oil to give a pink colour. Hopefully they'll pinken up in the next few days. Here are the 'just cut' pics:

  2. That video is real cool. I was told to start doing videos. With everything else going on, when can I find time? (sigh)

  3. Yes, you should make videos! There aren't enough soap vids on youtube.

  4. wow!!! this was very cool to watch- thanks for doing it! i love making soap in the crockpot too.. i found your comment on an old post of mine, so i thought i'd check up on you- girl, you've been busy!! :)
i love how you like the natural, un-sythetic-colored soaps. i too have been rebitten by the soap bug and love the idea of keeping it natural. the colors and scents out there are amazing, to be sure, but theres just a special appeal to natural scents and colors, isn't there? check out my new buttermilk pumpkin spice when you get time. good luck to you!!!

  5. Glad you like the vid. I still haven't felt the need to experiment with synthetic chemicals and doubt I ever will to be honest. There are so many natural colourants and essential oil combinations I'm yet to try.
